The Caterpillar room caters for children with communication and interaction needs. The room is led by a qualified teacher and support by two teaching assistants. With the current needs of the children, we are working on a maximum of 8 children within the room, however this can change as the needs of the children change. The Caterpillar room aims to provide children with targeted support, interventions and a curriculum that is designed with stage not age. All children are reviewed regularly and where it is beneficial for the child they are access their mainstream class.
